Over the past few months, Lyons O’Neill has been featured a number of times in the press, to discuss a range of topics, and showcase some of our exciting projects. 

In January, Public Sector Building News featured the news of the completion of our work at the Royal Greenwich Trust School, which was commemorated with a topping out ceremony attended by the project team. You can learn more about our work to deliver the school’s new extension here.

In February, the magazine also featured our work at St Nicholas SEN School in Purley, which is due for completion this year. The article details the techniques employed to provide the school with a new school building, and is available here

Elsewhere, Director Kevin Lyons had the exciting opportunity to write an article for the Institution of Civil Engineers’ February 2020 edition of their Civil Engineering journal, on the ways civil and structural engineers can help to deliver the UN’s New Urban Agenda. The following month, Head of Civil Engineering Niall Greenan shared similar insights, and authored a guest article detailing the specific ways water management techniques can help address the climate challenge. Niall’s article, which draws upon a number of our projects, is available here

The month also saw Director Damian O’Neill share a guest article in Planning, BIM & Construction Today, detailing the ways BIM is currently being applied across the industry, and the barriers it continues to face. You can read the article in full here.
